Free Cad software
There are many programs on internet for 2D and 3D cad design, some of these are not very good, but others are impressive. In this page I review the best ones. For specialized cad software anf for other free or open source packages see the links to the left.
ProgeCad LT 2006
ProgeCad LT 2006 is a free alternative to
AutoCad that works with DWG from version 2.5 to 2006, and it can import and export to
DXF and DWF.
It is based on IntelliCad source code, and it is a complete 2D and 3D CAD system with
much of the main functionalities found in AutoCad.
ProgeCAD LT is a real and robust 2D/3D CAD engine derived from ProgeCAD 2006 Professional.

A9Cad
A9CAD is a general purpose two-dimensional CAD program. It supports industry standard DWG & DXF drawing formats.
With A9CAD you can draw basic shapes, change entity attributes via properties window,
manage drawing styles and settings, and
configure drawing environments.
